Chemspec Middle East
dmg world media
Dubai

Chemspec Middle East will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 7-8 December 2009. Plans are for it to take place every year thereafter, depending on demand. Visitors will come from all over the Gulf and Middle East region, plus the wider Indian and Chinese markets. The exhibitors will be the same mix of blue chip firms and SMEs from across the world as at other Chemspecs.

The location was chosen for a number of reasons, headed by the rapid growth of the market in this emerging region and the even faster emergence of Dubai as a venue. Although the region is better known for petrochemicals, the Gulf Chemicals & Petrochemicals Association (GPCA) has recently noted the emergence of a growing fine and speciality chemicals sector. The pleasant climate and the many attractions of Dubai as a venue will also be a big draw.
